Gangsta-Rap-Movie mit den Rapstars Pras und Ja Rule.
Der talentierte Rapper Diamond steht kurz vor dem Durchbruch. Zusammen mit seinem besten Freund Gage, einem heißblütigen Drogenkurier, finanziert Diamond die Studiokosten für seine erste Platte. Doch die Geldbeschaffung erweist sich als überaus blutiges Geschäft. Als Diamonds Mutter stirbt, der lange verschollene Vater wieder auftaucht und auch noch die Freundin schwanger wird, beginnt Diamond an seinem Lebensstil zu zweifeln.
